This series of small-scale acrylic paintings features fields of modulated atmospheric colour.

INFORMATION

This series of small-scale acrylic paintings features fields of modulated atmospheric colour. Mueller uses a dotting technique to create a sense of dappled transient light. She examines the impact of colour relationships through the slight alteration of minimal compositions and a restricted colour pallet. Each work morphs from the previous. As a series it demonstrates how slight differences in the placement or percentage of a colour can greatly alter the mood of a work.
