INFORMATION

This exhibition is a collaboration between three emerging Sydney artists whose common interest is the indirect relationships between community, the environment, culture and landscape. All three artists explore these ideas with different media. Caroline Kronenberg explores patterns and organising dynamics in nature to investigate the themes of temporality and change. Tempe Macgowan draws on process and layering to create expressive visual metaphors of Australian urban landscapes in mixed media. Gabrielle Freer’s art is an expression of the relationship between humanity and nature using charcoal and paper. The artists all attend UNSW School of Art and Design and have diverse professional backgrounds.
